Pip Value Calculator

Enter your pair type, position size, and account currency assumptions to find the cash value of a single pip. This is the number that turns every price move into real money, and it is the input every other calculation on this site depends on.

pip value = pip decimal × units ÷ (quote → account rate)

Leave at 1 if your account currency matches the pair's quote currency (e.g. a USD account trading EUR/USD). Otherwise enter the rate that converts one unit of the quote currency into your account currency.

A word on precision

These calculators use the standard textbook formulas and assume the conversion rate you supply. Your broker's figures may differ slightly because of their own conversion timing, commission structure and rounding of lot sizes. Use these numbers to size the decision; use your platform's order ticket to confirm the exact fill.
