Liquidity
How easily an asset can be traded without moving its price.
Liquidity describes how readily you can buy or sell a currency pair without causing a large change in its price. Major pairs like EUR/USD are highly liquid, with continuous two-way interest at every moment of the trading week.
High liquidity brings tight spreads and reliable fills; low liquidity brings wider spreads, more slippage and choppier moves. Liquidity follows the session rotation, peaking during the London–New York overlap and thinning around holidays and rollover.
